I was skeptical about the antimicrobial claim, but after a week of this ring being slobbered on and dropped in the yard, it still doesn't have that funky dog toy smell. The rubber is firm enough for teething but has just a little give, and our pup hasn't managed to tear off any pieces yet.

Our new puppy has a habit of chewing everything, but this ring is tough enough to handle her teething without tearing apart. I love that the antimicrobial protection gives me one less thing to worry about when she slobbers all over it.
